We believe that there are many talented artists out there whose work deserves to be seen and appreciated, and we are committed to providing a platform for these individuals to share their work with a wider audience.

This month, Through The Lens explores the bold and creative worlds of Cosplay, Goth, and Ink—three powerful forms of self-expression that blend art, identity, and imagination through photography. From the vibrant transformation of cosplay to the dark elegance of gothic aesthetics and the storytelling beauty of tattoo art, this issue celebrates individuality in its most visually striking forms. Each image captures the passion, creativity, and emotion that define these subcultures, showcasing photography as a bridge between fantasy, art, and personal expression.
Accepting Submissions
November (Flowers)
Through The Lens magazine is now accepting submissions for our Flowers (September) issue, celebrating the natural beauty, color, and creativity that blossoms through floral-inspired photography.
Submission Guidelines:
- You may submit up to 12 high-resolution images.
- All images must be 300 DPI and ideally sized at 8” x 11.5”.
- To be considered for the cover and main feature, you must submit a full set of 12 images from a single photo session, with a consistent floral theme throughout.
What We’re Looking For:
- Flowers must be visibly incorporated into the composition — either in the foreground or background of the image.
- The model or subject may be:
- Holding flowers,
- Wearing an outfit made of flowers, or
- Wearing clothing with a floral pattern or design.
- All photographic genres and styles are welcome, from editorial and lifestyle to glamour and fine art.
Images must be tasteful and artistically styled (no explicit nudity).
